# ICC_FOS_Ext Seal Code Generator - Developer Installation Guide

This guide explains how to install the ICC_FOS_Ext extension in developer mode for testing and development purposes.

## Prerequisites
- Google Chrome browser (latest version recommended)- The extension source code files downloaded to your local machine

## Installation Steps

### 1. Enable Developer Mode
1. Open Google Chrome2. Navigate to `chrome://extensions/` in your address bar3. In the top-right corner, toggle **"Developer mode"** to **ON**4. You should now see additional options appear: "Load unpacked", "Pack extension", and "Update"

### 2. Load the Extension

1. Click the **"Load unpacked"** button
2. Navigate to the `ICC_FOC_Ext` folder on your computer
3. Select the folder containing the extension files (should include `manifest.json`, `popup.html`, `popup.js`, etc.)
4. Click **"Select Folder"** (or "Open" on some systems)

### 3. Verify Installation
The extension should now appear in your extensions list with:- Extension name: "ICC Family of Solutions Menu Extension"- Status: Enabled- A toggle switch to enable/disable it
You should also see the ICC icon appear in your Chrome toolbar (extensions area). If you do not, click the puzzle peice icon and select the pin icon to pin it to the tool bar.
